Shoot the Chef

Good Food Month 2014

Shoot the Chef

Shoot the Chef - check out the winners!

Shoot the Chef is the annual competition that combines Australia’s passion for food and photography. The competition was open nationally via Clique Photographers' Association as part of this year's Good Food Month presented by Citi. The brief was simple: shoot a chef (or your interpretation of one!). It can be a three-hat chef, your favourite short-order cook or just a talented kid in the kitchen. Here are this year's winners.

Overall Winner: James Ross - Holly

"This image is a part of a larger series which I have created due to the increase in popularity of celebrity chefs in Australia's mainstream media. The series aims to showcase the real, passionate and somewhat forgotten chefs working in Australia's hospitality industry."

Clique Monthly Challenge Winner: Corinna Lueg - Six Chicks

"My daughters' quandary … loving their backyard chickens as others do their dogs and cats, yet slowly coming to the understanding that their favourite family meal – the roast chook (with rosemary garlic, baked potatoes and caramelised onions) was once one of their beloved hens' cousin."
