What is Good Food Month?
Good Food Month has established itself as Australia’s leading national food festival. But it’s more than just about delivering good food. We create unforgettable experiences that leave lasting memories. With over 1 million attendees each year and hundreds of curated events starring chefs setting the biggest trends in Australia, the month is about delighting, inspiring and transporting our audiences out of their everyday. Good Food Month returns to Sydney in October 2019, celebrating the very best of the Sydney food scene.
What type of event can I register for Friends of Good Food Month?
The options are endless. You can host a breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner or even weekend festival in your restaurant! You can also register an event you have already created and are holding in the month of October. Please ensure you submit a special event that will offer your customers a unique experience they wouldn’t have previously had in your restaurant.

What are the marketing benefits?
- Social media post inclusion (at least 1) with links to restaurant handles or hashtags, where relevant. These must be supplied to Good Food Month to ensure accurate tagging.
- Dedicated event page on goodfoodmonth.com.au with link to restaurant website, within the Friends of Good Food Month event series category.
- Featured within dedicated PR campaign for the event*
When do registrations close?
Registrations close 16 August 2019
How does ticketing and reservations work?
This is completely up to you! Your listing on the Good Food Month website will have links that will take customers back to your website and or bookings page. Customers will then book or reserve directly with you.
Do I have to use partner beverages?
No. You are welcome to use any beverage products of your choice for your event – we are just unable to mention the name of the brand on our website due to partner conflicts.
What if my menu isn’t finalised?
That’s ok! Leave this section blank and get in touch with us when your menu is finalised and we can upload your listing. Your menu will need to be finalised by 16 August 2019 for us to submit it on our website.
All events must be registered by the cut off date of 16 August 2019. Any changes to copy or images on the website or other assets will be made on Mondays and Wednesdays only. Once an event has expired, it will remain on the website.
