What is there to do at the  Night Noodle Markets?

Apart from feasting on delicious Asian-inspired dishes, you can:

  • Visit the Night Poodle Markets on Saturday 9 November from 4 – 7pm. See below for further information
  • Visit the DiDi x Movember Barbershop on Monday 11 November to get a fresh cut and support men’s health. 
  • See the lion dancers performing Monday – Wednesday throughout the event.

Are there vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options available at the event?

There sure are! Check out our stall holder menus here. Dietaries are noted under each menu item. If you’re still unsure, you can ask any of our friendly stallholders at the Markets if they have vegetarian, vegan or gluten-free options available.

Can I BYO? 

No, however non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages are available for sale at numerous bars within the event. Water is available free of charge at all bars and hydration stations (to refill water bottles) will be situated on the lower and middle terrace. 

 

Is there seating at the Night Noodle Markets? 

Yes, there is seating at the event. We suggest arriving early to secure a spot as the markets can get busy. Alternatively, you are welcome to bring along a picnic blanket to sit on. 

 

Will the Night Noodle Markets still go ahead if it’s raining?

Yes, the Night Noodle Markets will be open rain, hail or shine.

 

Can I pay with cash at the event?

The Night Noodle Markets are a cash-free event. Make sure you bring your cards along with you for all purchases. All major cards are accepted, and there is the option to load cash on to a cash card available at the event. See our friendly staff at the information tent for further details 

 

Is this a dog friendly event?

The Night Noodle Markets are dog-friendly. We do ask, however, that if you bring your four-legged friends along to the event, you ensure they are kept on a leash. Please also be mindful that there are large crowds at the event, which pets may find stressful. Please ensure you look after your pooch and if crowds aren’t their thing, maybe leave them at home with a doggy treat. 

 

When are the Night Poodle Markets on and how can I be involved? 

The Night Poodle Markets are set to pop up at the Melbourne Night Noodle Markets on Saturday 9 November from 4-7pm, providing the pawfect excuse for a puppy date with a difference. Dog-owners are encouraged to take advantage of the Night Poodle Markets pho-dog-rapher, so they can capture paw-traits with their pooches and claim their very own Night Poodle Markets dog treat. 

Tickets cost $5 and include a photo and a dog treat, with proceeds going to RSPCA Victoria. Online bookings are now exhausted for the Night Poodle Markets, but there will be an opportunity for walk-ins on the day. There will also be an option to treat pooches to a treat only (no photo) for a donation of $2.50.

 

Is there a pick-up / drop-off zone?

The collection point of our rideshare partner, DiDi can be found at the Russell Street Extension, Federation Square.

Night Noodle Markets attendees can use the code DiDiNNM for up to $20 in savings. That includes 2 x $10 ride vouchers for New Users and 2 x 20% off ride vouchers for Existing Users (Capped at $10 in savings per user).

 

Where can I park?

We have teamed up with LeGarage Parking at 114 Flinders Street, Melbourne to offer a discounted flat rate of $8 valid for parking from 4pm Monday – Friday and daily on weekends during the Night Noodle Markets when you pre book online. 

Simply visit the LeGarage Parking website here. Select the time/date you require and enter the promo code ‘MCCM’. Once your registration is complete, you will then receive an email with a unique PIN to be used to enter and exit the car park. T & C’s apply.

 

Can I catch public transport to the event?

Situated on the Yarra River’s north bank next to Federation Square, Birrarung Marr is best accessed by public transport.
