Satay Brothers | Teriyaki Beef Ribs

**PSA** We’re about to describe a dish so delicious, it WILL leave you very hungry! 

It wouldn’t be a Canberra Times Night Noodle Market without Satay Brothers, and this year, they’ve included something ultra special on their menu; barbecue beef ribs. First, they baste the ribs in teriyaki sauce for hours, until all of those umami flavours penetrate the meat. Then they char those tasty ribs on the barbecue and let the flames work their magic. Next, they serve the barbecued beef with crisp and crunchy Asian slaw, and your choice of coconut rice or chips. Satay Brothers are a favourite at the Canberra Times Night Noodle Markets, and we can guarantee they will always give you satays-faction.


Chinese Dim Sum King | Dumplings

There’s dumpling you should know – head straight to Chinese Dim Sum King for their range of glorious gluten-free dumplings! You’ll find a range of fillings available including prawn,  prawn and chive, as well as mushroom and vegetarian (both suitable for vegetarians). We’re not kidding around when we say these Chinese treats will leave you wonton more.


Superbao | Popcorn Chicken

Bao chicka wow wow! Superbao’s best selling popcorn chicken is perfect for snacking and sharing at The Canberra Times Night Noodle Markets. They follow the most authentic Taiwan street-food recipe, marinating chicken thighs in dozens of Chinese spices and traditional sesame oil. The chicken is then individually coated with special crunchy coating powder and cooked until it is golden and crispy. Served with Thai basil for a bit of extra kick, this is destined to be a favourite for our gluten-free champions!


May’s Malaysian | Char Bee Hoon (Vegan)

May’s Malaysian provides a tonne of gluten-free options, and not only that, their entire menu is vegan. For May’s Char Bee Hoon, they take rice vermicelli noodles, cook them over a smoking wok, add May’s special sauce, veggies, crunchy bean sprouts and Chinese chives. Hearty, comforting, delicious AND good for you. That’s why we love the legends at May’s Malaysian.


The Pham Sisters | Gluten-Free Steamed Dumplings (Vegan)

Gluten-free and vegan?! Go you lean, green, plant-based eating machines! Grab a bowl of The Pham Sisters’ gluten-free vegan shiitake mushroom dumplings, and let that delicious, umami goodness tickle your taste buds.
