James Cole Bowen

James Cole Bowen commenced his culinary career in Perth, starting out at Restaurant Amusé in East Perth in 2014 before moving on to Ku Dining in East Perth in 2017 where he worked with Le Rebelle co-owner Liam Atkinson and Head Chef Adam Sayles.

The east coast was calling and James moved to Victoria to work at Lûmé in South Melbourne alongside chef Shaun Quade in 2018, and Chef John Rivera in 2019. 

In 2019 James was a National Finalist in the Appetite For Excellence Program, one of his greatest career highlights to date. Towards the end of 2019, James was a part of the opening team for Omnia Bistro (South Yarra) then in 2020, James made the move back to Perth where he now holds the position of Sous Chef at Le Rebelle.
