An Evening with Marco Pierre White
Date: Wednesday 5 June
Venue: Good Food Month Restaurant at Canvas House, 137 Buckhurst St, South Melbourne
The godfather of modern cooking, and the world’s first celebrity chef, Marco Pierre White, will return to Australia to celebrate Good Food Month in Melbourne.
In An Evening with Marco Pierre White, one of Australia’s most highly awarded chefs, Phil Wood, will honour Marco by recreating dishes from White Heat.
Wood is Culinary Director of two restaurants at the Pt. Leo Estate winery on Victoria’s Mornington Peninsula; the hatted Pt. Leo Restaurant; and the two-hatted Laura, which won Best New Restaurant in the Good Food Guide (the first time in the Guide’s history a Mornington Peninsula restaurant beat all city contenders for the prestigious gong). Tickets include four courses with matching wines and beer supplied by James Squire.
Hosted by the super talented Melissa Leong (@Fooderati), this is going to be an incredibly special event. So join Marco, Melissa and Phil for an evening of excellent food and great conversation. If you have a copy of White Heat, please bring it with you and Marco will be happy to sign it at the end of the night.
