To celebrate the launch of their new menu, join David’s as they explore Shanghai’s diversity from pippies to scallops and king prawns for a 10 course degustation feast.

The night will focus on fresh, seasonal seafood matched with wines from world class regions such as Burgundy, to some smaller more unique places like Getariako Txakolina in Spain.

Course 1
Harvey Bay Scallops steamed with garlic, soy, oyster sauce based with mung bean vermicelli

Course 2
Basket of 2 dumplings: Mushroom Prawn Dumplings & Chilii Prawn Shu Mai (spicy)

Course 3
Crab & asparagus in rice noodles, ginger soy broth, coriander peanut pesto

Course 4
Steamed Sea Perch fillet with fresh ginger, spring onion & coriander on a bed of tofu

Course 5
XO chilli pippies with a touch of kaffir lime leaf

Course 6
Fresh QLD King prawns with garlic & tomato (with shell)

Course 7
Shanghainese bamboo shoots & king oyster mushroom wok tossed in oyster sauce

Course 8
Very special fried rice – Crab, Chinese sausage, wood ear mushrooms, asparagus & egg

Course 9 Desserts
Chocolate, banana & peanut spring rolls with vanilla bean ice cream

Course 10 Desserts
Molten white chocolate & cranberry dumplings, black sesame ice cream
