If there’s one thing we’ve learned in Sydney, it’s that this is a town obsessed with great Italian food! We decided to showcase the finest Italian cuisine in the city in this very special Good Food Month event, The Citibank Dining Program presents Sydney’s Best Italian. We’ve combined some of the city’s best Italian chefs with the region’s best produce in one of the most stunning venues in Sydney – hosted by the finest MC in the business, Melissa Leong (Aka Fooderati). 

You’re invited to dine at one hat Citibank Dining Partner venue, The Restaurant Pendolino, as their head chef Nino Zoccali and his guest chefs Alessandro Pavoni ( Citibank Dining Partner venue Ormeggio at the Spit) and Richard Ptacnik (Citibank Dining Partner venue OTTO) create for you a menu that will make nonna proud.  Nino’s menus specialise in regionally inspired Italian fare and he has recently released a highly anticipated cookbook, Venetian Republic, which celebrates the cuisine of the Veneto and beyond. If it’s authentic, great Italian you’re after, Nino is your man.

In The Restaurant Pendolino, Citibank Dining Partner chef Nino and his team produce a range of artisanal pastas made on the premises in a dedicated pasta kitchen. For over ten years now, lovers of good food, and die-hard fans of great Italian fare, have enjoyed every mouthful of Nino’s masterful cooking. Now it’s your turn. 

Citibank Dining Partner head chef Alessandro Pavoni has maintained a staggering two hat rating at the iconic Ormeggio at the Spit since its opening in 2009. While Citibank Dining Partner head chef Richard Ptacnik joined the team at hatted institution OTTO in 2003, under the then head chef James Kidman. Richard assumed the role of Head Chef in late 2009, and OTTO has been the bustling hub of Sydney’s favourite simple, modern Italian ristorante ever since. MC Melissa Leong is a food & travel writer, food media consultant, radio broadcaster, television presenter, cookbook editor, and most importantly, Good Food Month Host with the Most. Her charm and food knowledge is second to none, and she knows how to elevate a dinner into a memorable event.
