Join the current editor of Good Food Ardyn Bernoth and former Good Food Guide editor and Festival Director of Good Food Month, Joanna Savill, as they invite The Bridge Room’s Ross Lusted, to explore some of the most iconic dishes of the last 20 years that influenced him, and changed the course of Sydney dining forever.

Ross Lusted is Chef/Owner of one of Sydney’s most beloved dining establishments, The Bridge Room, which has been awarded numerous accolades including The Sydney Morning Herald Good Food Guide’s Restaurant of the Year (2016) & Chef of the Year (2014).

Lusted has worked extensively in restaurants across Asia-Pacific over the past thirty years including Rockpool (Sydney), Mezza9 (Singapore) and Amankila (Bali). His most recent role before returning to Australia to open The Bridge Room was as Head of Food and Beverage Development for Amanresorts where he was responsible for all Food and Beverage concepts and developments for new Aman projects throughout Europe, Asia, the United States, and the Caribbean.

With a coveted culinary career spanning 30 years, Lusted sets his sights high. After working in restaurants and hotels across the globe, Lusted eventually hung his hat in Sydney, and in 2011 opened our city’s beloved The Bridge Room.

Lusted and his restaurant has taken out most of the country’s highest accolades, including The Sydney Morning Herald Good Food Guide’s Restaurant of the Year (2016) & Chef of the Year (2014).

Lusted has worked across the Asia-Pacific, including residencies at Mezza9 (Singapore), Amankila (Bali) as well as being Head of Food and Beverage Development for Aman Resorts (Europe, Asia, US, and the Caribbean). Closer to home, Lusted was Executive Chef of Rockpool Sydney, the Park Hyatt Sydney’s Harbour Bar and Kitchen, as well as David Thompson’s legendary Darley Street Thai.

Ross is an asset to the culinary arts in this country, and an integral part of Good Food Month Sydney.
