Young Chefs Lunch presented by Citi

Date: Saturday 28 November
Time: 12:30pm
Venue: Garum at The Westin Perth, Hibernian Place, 480 Hay Street, Perth

The next generation of Perth’s fine-dining chefs is coming in hot, and we’ve collected the best and the brightest for an exclusive Young Chefs Lunch presented by Citi at this year’s Perth Good Food Month. Taking over the kitchen of Guy Grossi’s hatted Garum restaurant, these rising chefs will be cooking up a four-course menu under the expert guidance of Garum’s head chef, Stefano Pingue.

Hailing from Milan, Pingue focuses on delivering Grossi’s authentic Roman osteria menu at Garum, offering classic dishes from the capital like guanciale-flecked carbonara and traditional spiced Lucanian sausage.  Located in the hip Hibernian Place precinct, Garum’s light-filled space makes the most of exposed-brick walls and lofty wood-panelled ceilings to create an elegant yet comfortable dining area, perfect for a feast among friends.

With an open kitchen and a bespoke wood-fire oven, you can watch Good Food Month’s fledgling superchefs cook up a four-course menu that’s new, fresh and deliciously daring. Served with matched wine and beer, don’t miss this chance to experience the future of West Australian dining.
