As of Sunday 22 March, Prime Minister Scott Morrison announced that all restaurants and cafes in Australia must operate on a takeaway basis only, without seated guests from midday 23 March, in order to minimise the spread of the COVID-19 virus.
As a result, Perth Good Food Month presented by Citi will not be taking place this April, which includes the Perth Night Noodle Markets, which were scheduled to take place from 25 March – 5 April at Yagan Square.
If you have purchased tickets to one of our feature events (High Tea with Adriano Zumbo, Young Chefs Lunch presented by Citi, GOMA x Yarri x Wildflower, or Lulu La Delizia x Fico x Tipo 00) our team have emailed you and will be issuing refunds for the face value of your tickets purchased this week. There is nothing you need to do to action your refund. Haven’t received your email? Contact us here.
The COVID-19 virus has had a significant impact on everyone and it is a challenging and uncertain time for Australians including the hospitality industry. We want to reiterate our support to everyone affected directly and indirectly and over the coming months will work together with our restaurant partners to help promote their businesses.
We are working through ways to bring Perth Good Food Month presented by Citi to our audiences later in the year and will be in touch when we have further updates to share.
