At Nine Food Events, the safety and well-being of our guests, staff, stallholders and the general public is paramount.
The Australian Health Protection Principal Committee (AHPPC) advises that whilst the risk to the general Australian population from COVID-19 is low, in order to assist with the containment of the virus non-essential gatherings or events of over 500 people should not proceed.
As of 3:30pm Friday 13 March, The Prime Minister and state and territory leaders want all non-essential gatherings of more than 500 people to be suspended from Monday 16 March. As such, The Perth Night Noodle Markets will not take place from March 25 – April 5.
Other Perth Good Food Month events that are scheduled to take place throughout April will continue as they are events for under 500 people and not deemed a risk from the AHPPC.
The AHPPC strongly recommends that people that if feel unwell with a cough or fever or other respiratory symptoms should not attend public events or gatherings. This is particularly so for people who have recently traveled from overseas.
